CCTV RECORDS PRIVACY NOTICE

​This privacy notice has been prepared regarding the personal data processed within the scope of video surveillance activities carried out by Tarşa Hotel Management Trade Inc. at its accommodation facilities. The video surveillance activities conducted at the facilities belonging to the companies and branches listed below, acting as the data controller (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Tarşa Hotel Management Trade Inc.”), are carried out in accordance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and relevant secondary legislation.

The camera surveillance activities in question are carried out in common areas within the hotel premises and are conducted in line with the Tarşa Hotel Management Trade Inc. Personal Data Protection Policy.

1. Your Data Related to Physical Premises Security (Camera Footage)
Warning signs are placed in areas where camera recordings are taken so that data subjects can clearly see them. This privacy notice is made accessible to data subjects via reception areas, common areas, and/or information boards.

2. Method and Legal Grounds for Collecting Your Personal Data
Your camera recordings are collected by automatic means through CCTV systems located in common areas of the facility (such as building entrances and exits, lobby, parking areas, and corridors).
Your personal data is processed based on the legal ground of the legitimate interest of the data controller pursuant to Article 5/2(f) of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698.

3. Purpose and Legal Grounds for Processing Your Personal Data

a) Purposes:

• Ensuring physical premises security
• Ensuring the safety of the facility and guests
• Use as evidence in possible legal proceedings when necessary

b) Legal Ground:

• Within this scope, your personal data is processed pursuant to Article 5, paragraph 2, subparagraph (f) of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, based on the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that it does not harm the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

4. Transfer of Your Personal Data – Retention Period

Your camera recordings may be transferred domestically or abroad only to authorized public institutions and organizations (such as law enforcement authorities and courts) for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK. Apart from this, no transfer is made to any third party or institution.

Retention Period:

Camera recordings are retained for a maximum period of 30 (thirty) days in accordance with the Tarşa Hotel Management Tourism and Trade Inc. Data Inventory and Personal Data Retention and Destruction Policy. Upon expiration of this period, the data is overwritten, deleted, destroyed, or anonymized through automated systems.
